owner and certified wedding planner at OM Engagements, and all around organizer by nature. With values rooted in amazing customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and utilizing my background in management, I created OM Engagements so I could work in my passion every day - helping couples in the Greater Washington DC Metro area plan stress-free, exceptional events and breeze through the details.
Built on a foundation of collaboration, my team and I partner with couples to not only understand the vision for the wedding, but then be able to translate your ideas for all involved to bring your imagination to life. Working together, we will produce an event that is perfectly unique to your personality - from selecting the very best vendors, to managing your budget, and crafting a meticulous timeline - we take care of executing the details so you can concentrate on enjoying your engagement.
Born in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and relocating to Washington DC for school - and staying because I met the love of my life - I am a bi-coastal “Washingtonian”. Currently nestled in the historic neighborhood of Shepherd Park, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two littles, dining at local restaurants - Mi Rancho is our daughter’s jam - and am on a mission to learn how to make the perfect cup of chai tea in my own kitchen. On wedding days, it is not uncommon for me to have multiple “extra” copies of the day’s schedule for each vendor, check in on my couple and their families throughout the day, and end the day having participated in the “Cupid Shuffle” or the “Wobble”... because life is way too short not to join in a few line dances.
